Oficina Ejecutiva para Revisión de Inmigración

La Oficina Ejecutiva para Revisión de Inmigración (EOIR) es una oficina del Departamento de Justicia del Estados Unidos y es responsable de resolver los casos de inmigración en los Estados Unidos. La EOIR supervisa los tribunales de inmigración en los Estados Unidos a través de la Oficina del Juez Principal de Inmigración. Además, la Junta de Apelaciones de Inmigración, que conoce las apelaciones de las cortes de inmigración, es parte de la EOIR.

La función principal de la EOIR es llevar a cabo un proceso de deportación, que son los procedimientos administrativos para determinar la inamovilidad de los individuos en los Estados Unidos. Procedimientos de remoción se llevan a cabo en los tribunales de inmigración.
