Cámara de Representantes

Cada año, cientos de proyectos de ley se presentan en la Cámara de Representantes para controlar la inmigración ilegal, construir cercas en la frontera México-Estados Unidos, y concesión de beneficios en forma de visas temporales, y residencia permanente para los distintos tipos de inmigrantes.

El Comité Judicial de la Cámara y de inmigración tienen audiencias del subcomité horario en una amplia variedad de temas de inmigración. A menudo, las emisiones vía Internet de estas audiencias se transmiten en vivo en el Internet.

Los representantes también patrocinan cuentas privadas de los mandantes en casos simpáticos, donde no hay recursos en las leyes de inmigración.
